Every so often depending on seasonality, inspiration, time and seed availability, we change things up a bit and add new varieties to our deliveries. We've added some beautiful new crops that will be fun to play with in the kitchen, and of course, incredibly good at fueling a healthy body.
Red Garnet Amaranth is a deep red-ish pink-ish crop that will take any dish you make to the next level. It'll have that Michelin reviewer at your place in no time. Tatsoi mustard is for the mustard lovers, yet not too overpowering for those that are sensitive to mustard flavor. It has a beautiful purple color and adds a great zing to dishes needing a little extra. We place two cells each of Broccoli and Cabbage, as these guys grow large and bulky and provide a great base for any salad. Members of the Brassica family of crops, their nutrient content is through the roof. Kohlrabi and Kale and equally loved and hated for their nutrient richness and sometimes bitter flavor, however, as a microgreen all that toughness goes away. They're tender and gorgeous in any raw dish.
